This hiring process seems a bit of a mess, honestly. It feels like they really prefer people who are already in the company or have some kind of connection. Job ads stay up forever. If they do end up interviewing you, the interviewers often seem totally checked out, like it's just something they have to do for HR and not because they actually want to evaluate you. If you don't know anyone, you might find it's a waste of your time.

You'll start with a 1-hour talk and Q&A session. After that, there will be about 3 hours of interviews. These interviews might happen on the same day or be spread out. During the interviews, you'll have the chance to meet with various people from different teams.

The interview process involved a long list of interviews. It started with a screening interview with the hiring manager. Then, there were two Zoom interviews: one with the software team and another with the hiring manager and an additional team member. This was followed by an all-day onsite interview and a job talk in front of about 20 team members, with around 8 separate interviews each lasting for a short period with 1 to 3 people. I was informed by the hiring manager that I was the top candidate and would very likely receive an offer. Subsequently, there was a follow-up call with the recruiter, which was the first time I spoke with a recruiter. Another follow-up call was with an HR person. Ultimately, I was not given an offer. The entire process spanned approximately 6 weeks. The all-day interview can be very challenging for introverts, and the chats with team members were quite unstructured. It's advisable to have stimulants ready if you are invited to the onsite interview.

First, I had a recruiter call to go over the internship process and confirm my application. Then, there was a 30-minute zoom interview with my mentors where they asked 3-5 questions.
