I had a worrying experience with Biohaven Pharmaceuticals. I can't talk about the real interview process because I encountered something that made me doubt if it was legit. As I got ready for the interview, I got an email that looked like it was from Biohaven. It seemed professional, had their logo, and a link to what looked like their official website. It all seemed fine at first. But then I saw the website domain ended in ".com", which made me suspicious. I know Biohaven uses a different domain. So, I contacted the company directly to check if the email was real. Sadly, it was a scam, someone pretending to be from Biohaven. Luckily, I didn't give out any info or reply. This shows how important it is to check if communications are real when applying for jobs. Always check email domains, contact companies through official ways, and be careful with strange emails. I can't tell you about Biohaven's interview process because of this, but I hope my story helps others avoid scams and have a safer job search.

The interview process was okay. I spoke with two women over Zoom. They seemed nice and friendly and invited me back for a second interview. However, they never showed up for that second interview and didn't let my recruiter know anything. It would have been good to at least get a heads up that they found someone else.

It started with a phone screen with a recruiter, then I moved on to HR. I was asked to complete a questionnaire that had more than 20 questions, requiring short essay-style answers. After that, I had interviews with the hiring manager, both over the phone and via Zoom. I followed up a week, then two weeks, then three weeks later, but didn't hear back. The recruiter was a third party and wasn't sure about the next steps. The hiring manager mentioned he would contact me in two weeks after some NSM meeting. They kept saying they would schedule an interview but never actually did and never closed the loop.

It was a casual Zoom chat. We began with some light conversation, then they gave me an overview of the company, and after that, we talked about my background and how I'd fit into their team. The interview was scheduled for 45 minutes and ended on time.
