It was a pretty typical process. A recruiter first screened me, then I had a phone interview, and finally met with the hiring manager in person. The vibe was really friendly, and everyone was super nice and professional.

The interview process was set up decently. HR was good at coordinating schedules for phone and face-to-face interviews. The offer letter and acceptance part was confusing and unclear. HR was rigid about drug testing and wouldn't make anything contingent on outcomes first. Background checks took a long time without updates, which was frustrating.

The first interview is to see if you have the qualifications and can do the job. It's in person with an HR Manager, who was a young white male in my case, looked college aged. I had all the skills and experience but never heard back, I still can't believe they didn't hire me. Maybe because I'm hispanic?
