A headhunter reached out, and I went through multiple interview rounds. I had two meetings with the hiring manager, but ultimately, they ghosted me without explanation. It was super frustrating because the team seemed to like me, but the hiring manager couldn't make a decision and didn't respond to my follow-ups. The head hunter just shrugged, saying there was nothing she could do. The whole experience with Bio-Reference and Scarlet Health felt disorganized and impersonal, wasting my time and leaving a bad impression.

Had a telephonic screening and then an onsite where we had a detailed technical discussion. This included architect designing and technical issue resolutions. We also discussed problem solving skills, past experience, database design, SQL query optimizations, table normalization, and layer architecture design patterns.

I was first reached out by the talent acquisition team, and we talked about my background and skills. Then, two days later, I had my second round, which was a technical video interview that went for about 45-50 minutes. The last round was also a video call, a behavioral interview that took 20 minutes. The whole thing took around 10 days.

Applied online and after about 2 weeks, got an email for a typing and memory test at a specific location. You have to book this test online and they send you an email with directions, pay rate (which is fixed), and what to expect for the typing test. When you get there, you meet with an HR person who asks about your availability, reviews your resume, and then you do the typing and memory tests. If you pass, they discuss meeting the supervisor for the job. Around 2 days later, the supervisor's assistant called to set up an interview, sending an email with the details and supervisor's contact info. Upon arrival, you meet the supervisor, answer some basic questions, and get a tour of the lab. I was hired right then. About 3 days after that, an HR rep called and emailed with the offer, asking for a background check and drug test. This took about 2 days, and then I got an email with congratulations and orientation info.
