Technical

I did the gorilla assessment test and then was invited for a 45-minute technical interview with the hiring manager. The interview covered general experimental biology concepts, probability, statistics, genetics, and algorithms. I didn't do great because I wasn't ready. If you study those topics, you should be okay.

Technical Coding

I had an interview with the hiring manager for their team. They asked a lot of in-depth technical questions, split into three main sections. Although coding skills were listed as a plus, the questions implied a strong expectation of knowledge in that area.

Technical Coding

I interviewed for a Bioinformatics Oncology role. The process was good and the people seemed nice. I went through three rounds of interviews and they all went well. There was one more coding round left, but I didn't get an offer because someone who was interviewed before me took the offer. The interviews mostly covered statistical analysis, basic genetics, and some technical NGS topics.
