Analyst
It was a pretty standard interview, with the usual questions you'd expect. Nothing too surprising. There were several people on the call asking questions, and the vibe was pretty relaxed.
- Are you open to completing an Excel assessment?
Leasing Consultant
The whole thing took about 3 weeks and involved 3 separate interviews. First up was a quick 10-minute chat at a job fair with the Director of Recruiting. Then, a week later, I went to the actual property I wanted to work at for a 40-minute interview with the Property Manager and the Director of Leasing. They really dug into some in-depth questions there. The final interview was about 45 minutes long and held at one of their corporate offices with the Regional Manager. It was a pretty lengthy and tough process overall, but I guess that's how they find their high performers. After getting the offer, I had to do a urine test and pass a background check. The first day is at the corporate office for paid orientation and lunch.
- What makes you want to work for Billingsley?
- Do you have prior experience in this field?
Resident Services Ambassador
I found out about this Resident Services Ambassador role through a virtual job fair because of COVID. The interview process was fast and straightforward. After a quick chat with Kara, I went in for an in-person interview the very next day. The neighborhood manager and community director interviewed me. They were really nice and said they'd be in touch soon about an offer.
- Tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult customer.
Legal
I had an interview with two paralegals at the company. We chatted about my career aspirations, my time in law school, and any prior work I'd done in real estate. It was a pretty relaxed, conversation-like interview. They also talked about the legal team at Billingsley and what they do for the company.
