First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bigfoot Java.

The interview process was straightforward and pleasant, with a manager who appeared friendly and laid-back. The interview itself went well. They tend to start new hires on weekend graveyard shifts, which isn't ideal, but seniority dictates placement. I received a job offer a week after not hearing back initially.
- Can you list five ways to describe yourself?
Barista
Super easy interview, they hired me even without experience. They also told us about the dress code: black tops and blue jeans. I had a job interview and then a week of training. They called me 30 minutes later and I got the job.
- Can you explain how to make an americano?
Barista
Went to an open-hiring fair and then had a quick 15-minute chat at their main office. Just needed my resume or their application. Got a call a few hours later with a job offer and started training about a week after that.
- What's the limit on missed days in the initial 90 days on the job?
Barista
It was one in-person interview, mostly a chat to see if I would fit the stand culture. They interviewed everyone on the same day and we got contacted the same day.
- What makes you want to work at this particular place?
