The interview process was well organized and thoughtful. I had multiple rounds, each with people from various departments. They were all smart, likable, and asked good questions. It was a nice balance of casual conversation and formal interview. Overall, it was a good experience.

The interview process was quick, comprehensive, and handled very well. I can't recall the exact questions, but they were highly relevant, prepared me for the client and the work, were often challenging, and focused on the specific role I was applying for. I enjoyed meeting everyone, and never felt rushed. BSS values company culture and seeks individuals with a commitment to their future and potential for growth within their unique agency. From the start, I had a clear grasp of their mission and a good sense of their overall work and culture.

I was interested in Big Spaceship because I admire their work and creative-focused work ethic. I applied for the Strategy Internship and got a same-day response, with an interview scheduled for the next day. The interview was very laid-back, conducted via Google Chat with a strategist in the creative department. We talked about my interests, brands I followed, and accounts I followed. After the interview, I was given a take-home assignment. I submitted it early and thanked the interviewer. A week passed with no response, so I followed up via email. They were still posting about the position on Twitter, so I assumed they were still looking for candidates. A second follow-up email the following week also went unanswered. After a month of no response to three follow-up emails, I gave up. It's frustrating not to receive a response, even a rejection or an update, especially when seeking feedback to improve. I'm unsure about the status at Big Spaceship, whether a candidate was chosen or if there are company changes, but the lack of communication is upsetting. I hope this isn't typical of the company culture. While I still enjoy their work, I'm hesitant to apply again or join the company due to this experience.

The interview process at Big Spaceship was really good. For Account Director roles, they have you talk with people from account, strategy, production, and creative teams. So, there are a few rounds, but I liked getting to know the different departments I'd be working with. The recruiter was super helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. She always responded quickly if I had questions. I actually interviewed a few times before getting the job because they were looking for the right account and team fit. I appreciated that they kept my profile and reached out when the right opportunity came up. Big Spaceship really focuses on finding the right talent for the role and people who will fit into their positive, kind, and collaborative company culture.
