The interview process at Big Marlin Group was fun, challenging, and welcoming. It kicked off with a recruiter call to go over my background, skills, and interest in the role. After that, I had one virtual interview, followed by an in-person interview. The interviews covered my technical skills in digital marketing, how well I communicate with clients, and my teamwork abilities. Towards the end, I met many of the team, talked to people in similar roles, and answered some personal questions. The whole process was thorough yet friendly, and I felt supported and informed.

Behavioral Technical Other

The interview process was quite unusual. The office itself felt very dated, reminiscent of the 80s, and a bit dusty. As soon as I entered the conference room, I was on camera. Three interviewers were positioned behind their laptops and asked me questions while intensely taking notes on my responses. The questions felt somewhat awkward and seemed to be sourced from the internet. I found it particularly strange when one interviewer inquired about my significant other's job and workplace, which struck me as potentially illegal. I was eager to leave the situation as quickly as possible.

The interview was in person and had three rounds. One of the rounds was with the team, and although you might think it'd be nerve-wracking, it's actually not that bad. It's worth it to get a feel for who you'd be working with every day before you decide to take the job.
