First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Big Fish Games.
Customer Service Representative
It was a large group interview for open positions. They gave a short talk about the jobs. There was an email test to see how we handled pretend customer chats. We all went into a conference room with many people and were paired with employees. One interviewer was nice, but the other was a smug know-it-all and only asked one question.
- How are M and M's made?
Customer Support Representative
I applied online and they got back to me in about a week. They sent me a questionnaire to fill out and then got back to me with an interview offer. The interview was with a few other people and a couple of interviewers that we rotated through. Since I was applying for customer service, the interviewers were from that department and they each asked different questions about how we would handle certain issues and about ourselves. It was about an hour long, but I bet it could be longer or shorter depending on how many people are interviewing. From the day I applied, I got an offer in about 3 weeks.
- What makes you the right choice for this position?
Customer Service Representative
I had a phone screening first, then I went in for an in-person interview where I met with a group of managers. They got back to me pretty fast after that. The questions were really typical for customer service roles, nothing unusual, and they were fine if you didn't have technical skills.
- Tell me about a situation where you dealt with an unhappy customer and how you handled it.
