It was efficient and well organized. Lots of people from different departments were involved. It started remote and then we met in person in Lexington. There were both group and one-on-one interviews.

The interview process was so refreshing compared to what you see in the job market these days. It was straightforward and didn’t make you jump through a bunch of hoops like multiple and endless rounds of interviews, rewriting out all of your job experience although it’s on your resume, video submissions etc. and the best part is that you get an answer and a callback. The hiring director and HR staff really made a great impression for the company further solidifying my want to work under their company culture. Within my second contact, I was asked to come in for a tour and sign on to get hired. I chose my start date.

I found out about the company at a career fair and then got invited to an open house where I could sign up for a traveling sales internship. All the interviews were over Skype. First, I had an interview with a panel of HR people. A week later, I had separate interviews with some upper management people. After the interviews, there wasn't much followup. We had already decided on the next step, but it never happened. I emailed people at the company but didn't get responses quickly. I only found out they didn't pick me when I called them. I wish I'd gotten some feedback, but I guess it wasn't worth the effort.

I had a first interview with the hiring manager that was about an hour and pretty chill. No HR person was there. We mostly talked about the company and how awesome it is to work there, and about the owner. They discussed the job and what the role entails. They didn't ask much about my past work, just went through my resume. I was told I'd hear back in two weeks about another, more in-depth interview. After not hearing anything for 4 weeks, I emailed HR (no response, as usual); about three weeks later, I got an automated rejection. I later found out they had contacted my previous employer at some point, even though I never provided references or even filled out an application. They contacted my old work group, so I'm not even sure who they talked to. Anyway, I think they have good products and the place was nice, but reaching out to my former colleagues without getting my okay is sketchy.
