Key Account Manager
There were two Zoom calls and one in-person interview. The interviewers were the Sales Director for Central Europe and the Head of Sales for Europe. Each interview lasted about an hour. The atmosphere was open and relaxed. The interviews were conducted in both German and English.
- Do you have experience selling complex, consultative products?
Bookkeeper
First, we talked a bit about your overall career path. Then, I asked some questions about your past work at your previous job. After that, there was a quick test to see how good you are with computers, especially Microsoft Excel, from basic to intermediate skills. Finally, I gave a short explanation of what we do here and what we expect from someone in this position.
- What are your expectations for working with our company?
Account Executive
We start with an initial vetting call with an external recruiter. After that, you'll have a remote interview with the hiring manager and the regional VP of sales. This is followed by an in-person interview with the NA sales manager. The final stage includes a group presentation and a panel interview with the hiring managers mentioned earlier and another company officer.
- In the initial stages, they ask typical getting-to-know-you questions about you, your work history, and your work style preferences.
- The final interview is enjoyable where you're asked to prepare and present a 15-minute presentation on a topic of your choice, followed by hypothetical sales scenarios to evaluate your responses and thought process.
Greeter
We shook hands and talked about the job requirements. Then they said goodbye. I waited to get an email about a second interview. We talked about a day as an employee and met with the higher-ups. In the end, I didn't get the job.
- Could you tell me a bit about yourself?
