Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bharat Electronics.
Project Intern
The interview process was quite rigorous, with a high filtration rate. They selected the top 50 candidates nationwide for this program. It was moderately challenging, involving domain-specific questions in areas like communication, electronics, and cybersecurity, followed by behavioral and situation-based questions.
- What makes you want to join this company?
Intern
It was super tough, had 3 rounds. The interviewers were chill and let me take my time to answer. They asked stuff about AI and ML, since I'm a CSE grad. They also asked about Java and Python, and gave me some coding questions to solve.
- Could you tell me about the projects you've worked on?
- What projects did you undertake?
- Can you describe your past projects?
Intern
It was a 3-round process, and it was difficult. It took a lot of time. They asked basic-level questions about electronics and communication engineering. You should prepare well for all core subjects. Hiring is not based on recommendations. VLSI, embedded systems, GStreamer, sensors, and radars are very important. They asked questions from EMTL, material science, electronics devices and circuits, amplifiers, rectifiers, and op-amps.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- Can you share some information about the company's history and its connection to electronics and the armed forces?
