First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BFS Capital.
Software Engineer
They gave me an intro to the company first. Then they asked me some questions about the company and why I'm a good fit. After that, I did a quick coding exercise and they told me how I did right away.
- Can you explain the primary function of C++?
Sales Representative
the interview was straightforward. i had a chat with the owner who was very pleasant. he talked about the role and what was expected of me. i liked the office vibe and thought the people and managers i met were really nice. i got offered a job after just one phone chat and one meeting in person. i was hired and started work a few days later.
- What makes you want to join our company?
Consultant
Had an initial phone call with the recruiter that went well. It was professional. Then there was a long period of waiting and logistics, which was not very efficient. Finally, there was an on-site interview that started with some generic forms, then moved to conference rooms with different people. The agenda and questions started easy and escalated to deep, good conversations. I had to actively drive the conversation. Transitions between interviewers were abrupt, with no overlap. No written agenda or materials were given.
- What are your career aspirations?
UX Designer
It was a four stage interview process, starting with the recruiter, then going to the UX team, and finally meeting with the CTO. The second stage involved a take home UX exercise, and the third stage was a live whiteboarding challenge.
- Can you tell me about a project you worked on and the challenges you encountered?
