First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BFA.
UX Researcher
They gave me a case study that seemed to mirror potential future projects within the company. I had a brief 30-minute interview where they inquired about my thought process and familiarity with various tools.
- How would you approach new users when launching a new product in a new market?
- Could you tell me about your UX tool stack?
- What was your thought process regarding the case study?
SRE Engineer
The interview process here was kinda confusing with multiple people handling scheduling across different email chains. It started with the SRE team head, which was fine. Then a technical round with an SRE from Argentina, also fine. They then said there would be more interviews: one technical panel and then another SRE interview, which sounded weird. This changed to just one round with one person. Honestly, the technical rounds weren't that technical, making me feel like they weren't sure what they wanted. After it all wrapped up, I expected to hear back, but it went silent. A week later, they told me they were interviewing others and I'd know soon. It's been three weeks now with no update, which feels like a total waste of time. This kind of HR approach is bad for everyone involved.
- Can you describe the process that occurs when someone types "google.com" into their web browser?
Senior Manager
The initial screening was good, informative and thorough, and not a video call. The next round was with the hiring manager and it was a video interview. The interviewer seemed to decide I was too old for the role within the first few minutes. The remainder of the 30-minute call felt like an exercise in politeness, and they ended the call as soon as they reasonably could. They didn't ask many questions and seemed disengaged.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Sales Representative
The recruiter made me feel comfortable and at ease. They were very attentive and polite, and highly professional. The guidance provided was coherent and clear, showing great expertise. Congratulations to the entire team. I hope to improve after this interview.
- What is your motivation for wanting to work here?
