Behavioral Technical Coding

This was a hybrid role, kinda QA and Customer Support Rep. You'd be the first dedicated technical support admin and join one automation QA engineer. The process involved 1) chatting via application, emails, and chats, 2) a technical test where you'd investigate an issue, write a bug report, and create a playbook (like a living doc for issues and solutions), and 3) an interview with a friendly team member.

Behavioral Presentation

This hiring process was a terrible example of communication. I think I narrowly avoided a bad situation. There was an initial interview, then I was supposed to meet with the CEO at a conference. After several follow-ups and promises from the CEO like "I'll send some times" or "I'll have [person] reach out", I just got a generic rejection email. Look, I get not being the right fit. But be honest and upfront. Don't promise things you can't deliver. I'm glad this connection is over. Best of luck.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I applied and then after like 6 weeks, HR hit me up for a phone screen. It went fine even though they had to cancel last minute the day of. Next up was a values check with Talent. This was pretty awkward though, she basically asked me to design a DEIB program for them. I questioned if this was a sales role and she got defensive, saying she just wanted ideas. I told her it wasn't my expertise and she got super cold. Left feeling bad about the company and then got a generic rejection email saying they found someone else. Funny thing is, the job's still up over 3 months later.

Behavioral Technical

There were several interviews with different teams, even with Erin, one of the founders. Everyone was nice, but the whole process felt rushed and a bit weird. I was really put off because they recorded two of the interviews without even asking if it was okay or telling me they were recording. I thought that was super disrespectful and a big red flag about how things are done here. They didn't offer me the job, but honestly, I would have turned it down anyway because it felt like it was heading for disaster.
