I had a phone screen first, then a Zoom interview. After that, I went in for an in-office interview. I met with the office manager, some lead technicians, and a doctor. During the in-office part, I had to do a head measurement on a lead tech, which seemed pretty spontaneous. The office manager was really nice and got me to the in-office stage. They told me I interviewed well and was a top candidate, but they ended up hiring someone internal.

I had a panel interview with six people on the team. Half of them hadn't even looked at my resume beforehand. The atmosphere was pretty negative. Even though I've been in IT for over 10 years, they asked me basic questions like if I've used Microsoft Office. One person also asked what ticketing systems I've used and then followed up with how many tickets I've handled on average. Honestly, these questions felt like they didn't really matter.

Applied in November, but the first call and formal interview didn't happen until February. No updates were given by HR, even after I followed up twice over two months. The first round was with the direct manager, who asked generic questions, showing a lack of experience in assessing candidates. When I asked about the role's responsibilities, she admitted they were still defining them. No follow-up was provided. My application status on the dashboard still shows 'in progress' even though the job is no longer listed. It felt disorganized, and their hiring criteria were unclear, despite my qualifications matching the job description. A simple rejection or status update would have been more professional.

I applied on June 27th and had a phone screen at the beginning of August. After the phone screen went well, they said they'd pass my resume to the hiring manager. A week later, I followed up as they suggested, and they called to say most of their IT staff were on vacation. Another week passed, I followed up again, and they were still on vacation until early September. I decided to withdraw my application then because it was taking way too long to hear back. The last time I applied for this, I got an automated email that the job was cancelled. I'm just tired of this.
