Purchasing Assistant
It wasn't too hard of an interview process, but I didn't get the job since I'm a new graduate. I think they were looking for someone with experience, but for an assistant position, I thought that meant no experience was required.
- What actions would you take if a vendor failed to deliver an order by the due date?
Project Manager
I found the interview process to be easy. The HR representative was very professional and asked friendly questions. The work environment seems very fun, which I liked. The company also offers snacks and more free time. I think you just need to do your best.
- Can you tell me about your previous role?
Manager
The interview process has three stages: first a phone interview, then a supervisor interview, and finally an interview with a VP. The phone interview is a screen, the supervisor interview is to check team fit, and the VP interview is about long-term goals and company strategy. Overall, it was a nice process and everyone shared their perspectives about the job and the company.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Product Developer
It began with a 30-minute phone interview, featuring standard questions. A peculiar question was how coworkers would describe me in three words, followed by asking how my family would describe me, which struck me as unprofessional and potentially discriminatory due to family/child status. This raised a red flag for me and my HR friends. Following the initial screening, and considering my salary, they proposed a presentation as a next step for a higher role, where I would sell them a product they sell online. I felt this was too early for such a task given it was just after a short phone call, so I declined. Instead, I offered to present my portfolio during an in-person interview. They agreed to receive it via email for review. I sent my portfolio but haven't heard back since, despite a follow-up email. This whole experience presented several red flags about the company.
