First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Best Beverage Catering.
Bartender
The interview was informal and lasted about 20 minutes at the office. They asked quite a few questions and gave a good rundown of the job duties and how it all works. They also fully explained the pay, hours, and what they expect. It seems like they don't hire older workers, which is weird because employee reliability is obviously important. You could have experience doing the exact same job, with the same tasks and physical demands, but still get rejected if you're older.

Accounts Payable
The interview process was quite disorganized. HR sent an email to set up an interview but didn't actually confirm the date and time. When I followed up, HR claimed it was scheduled for two hours after the email and that they had already reached out. The controller was supposed to be part of the interview, but it seemed like it was put together last minute. I ended up only interviewing with the HR manager and an accountant. It was a straightforward, traditional interview with standard questions.
- Do you know QuickBooks?
Bartender
Got referred by a friend to an event they needed staff for. Since I had bartending experience, it was a good match. They didn't really interview me; they just trusted my friend's word and booked me for the first event based on that and my resume.
