Behavioral Case Presentation

I spoke with the talent manager, two research managers, and some potential coworkers. I had a couple of days to finish a case study and then present it to the managers and the head of research. Everyone was really nice and it didn't take too long.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process involved many rounds where they asked a lot of the same questions and shared insights. Going through the whole thing without getting selected felt very time-consuming, so I think they could show more respect for candidates' time. Everyone I met was friendly and really tried to sell the company culture. I'm not sure if that culture is the reality, but I hope they were being truthful.

Behavioral Other

I had several interviews with employees, recruiters, and the Hiring Manager. There were also some personality assessments. The interviewers were nice and polite, but the whole process took about 2.5 months. It was disappointing that they didn't provide any feedback after I wasn't offered the job. Given that the company has a leadership advisory practice and the interview process is so long, I'd expect more feedback on the interviews and assessments. It is strange that they have such a long process and offer no feedback.

Case Presentation Behavioral

The talent acquisition process was skilled and handled proactively. It was months long and involved many assessments, a case study that required preparation and presentation, and numerous conversations with key leaders. However, the interviews with the CEO and key peers for this VP role were only 30 minutes each, which felt too short; a VP role should typically have 90 minutes or more of initial conversations, followed by a flight to meet in person during the final candidate round, which didn't happen and was a significant flaw in the process. I was informed the organization was changing direction and not filling the role at all, which was extremely frustrating given the time and effort invested. An organization should have a very clear understanding of the role, reporting structure, etc., before entering the talent market. This is a fundamental aspect of business leadership.
