First, you'll have a phone interview to understand who you are as a person, because Bernards really hires great people and they look for great people. This is determined in Step 1. Second, a jobsite interview with a superior to your position. Once you complete the joist interview, you will interview with an executive of the company, one of the Bernard Brothers or the company's COO. Third, they will make their decision following Step 2 and either call you with an offer or a denial.

It starts with a phone call where you'll chat about your career aspirations. Then, you'll meet some employees and execs to see if you're a good fit for the team's vibe and personality. They're all about hiring folks who genuinely want to work there and who the team also wants to work with. It's a mutual thing; if it feels right for both sides, they'll make an offer, not just going for the 'best' candidates out there.

After a phone interview, I met with several people. The process was quite nice, and their real interest made me feel good. Five people in total, including the phone call, were all respectful and seemed to really care about their jobs and Bernards. Glen followed up after the in-person interviews and was always available. They then gave me an offer that matched what they had said.

I had an interview with an HR department manager. She was nice and didn't ask me that many specific questions. I ended up talking more than being asked about my qualifications.
