First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BerlinRosen.
Account Coordinator
The whole process took about a month. First, I had a chat with HR, but she seemed really busy and not very engaged. Then, I spent two hours doing a test trial project. After that, I met with two team members. They kept saying they needed to hire someone fast, but things felt like they were moving really slowly.

Account Coordinator
I got the offer 3 weeks after applying and 2 weeks after the first interview. First, I had a 30-minute recruiter screening call. The same day, I was asked to schedule a timed writing assessment. It involved a press release and pitch based on a client scenario, and it wasn't difficult at all. I think they care more about quality than just finishing. A few hours after sending in my writing, I was invited to schedule an interview with two VPs. They were nice and welcoming. The questions on Glassdoor helped me prepare. I got the feeling they wanted someone who knew the issue area well and had media relations experience. A few days later, I met the Executive VP for the team. She was also welcoming and interested in my background. This interview was more intimidating than the first two but not hard if you prepare and understand the media landscape. Within days, I got an offer.

- Can you name some journalists you follow on Twitter?
Account Coordinator
Honestly, the worst interview process ever. It felt like an interrogation, not an interview. Lots of 'gotcha' questions. The recruiters seemed totally disengaged and had tons of technical issues. They were also unprepared and couldn't answer basic questions about the role or company. They made me do a writing assignment and then completely ghosted me. Super rude to waste people's time when you're clearly not interested in them.
