The interview process started with me being intrigued by the company, but it ended up being a bizarre and chaotic experience. The hiring manager and recruiter seemed completely disorganized. The hiring manager joined the video call while driving on the freeway, which showed a lack of preparedness and inability to ask relevant questions. Then the recruiter joined and asked the manager to turn off her camera. During the interview, the recruiter asked me many questions and seemed satisfied with my answers, assuring me I'd hear back about the next steps. She then abruptly ended the call for another meeting, leaving the hiring manager to continue questioning me. The hiring manager, still driving, asked what the recruiter and I discussed since she hadn't been paying attention. I tried to summarize, realizing I couldn't work with someone like that. As a manager, I've done many interviews and hired many people. It's unacceptable to interview candidates while driving; at the very least, one should pull over. I'm relieved I didn't get a callback because this experience was pure chaos. Imagine working with or for someone with such poor judgment.

Interviews with the team were great, both over the phone and in person. I talked to several team members, and they were scheduled well and stuck to the time we agreed on. I got an email from the Property Manager who wanted me to come in for a chat. We met up at the property and ended up talking for over an hour. She asked me some standard questions and then gave me an assessment to do. The assessment covered different scenarios a property manager might face daily. After our talk, she sent my application and the assessment to her main office and said she'd let me know what they say. I got the job offer two days after that.
