First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Berkshire Sterile Manufacturing.
Process Engineer
One round of interviews with the MS&T team, including the VP, Associate Director, Manager, and two Supervisors. You'll need to know about the pharma industry and small-scale manufacturing processes using single-use systems. Design of Experiments is a key area; we're looking for examples of how you've done DoE, executed it, analyzed the results, and what actions you recommended based on implementation.
- Can you tell me about a Design of Experiments (DoE) that you conducted?
Project Manager
I had two interviews. The first one was online. The second interview was in person at their office. During the second interview, I met with several people, and they asked me some general questions and also some situational questions. I liked that they broke the interview into different parts so I could meet different people at the company.
- What is your motivation for applying to Berkshire Sterile Manufacturing?
Engineer
I had a phone screen scheduled with the hiring manager, but it ended up being a video panel interview with three interviewers. Each person spoke with me for about five minutes, and the whole thing felt disjointed because they joined the call at random times. The questions they asked were very technical, which caught me off guard since I was expecting a phone screen and hadn't prepared for that. The interviewers seemed really uninterested, and a lot of their questions were about why I even applied, given that my background isn't a perfect match for their specific work. It felt like they had already decided I wasn't a good fit, so I'm not sure why they proceeded with the interview.
- What about this job caught your eye?
- Can you explain your interest in applying when your experience isn't a direct match for our specialization?
QA Quality Systems Specialist
It started with a phone call from HR, then I had a one-hour interview with the Manager. The final round was onsite with a colleague, the Manager, and the Director. I got the result pretty quickly after the onsite interview.
- What Quality Management Systems are you familiar with?
- Can you describe your strengths and weaknesses?
- Would you consider relocating?
