So I had a call with the hiring manager and recruiter, then a 5-hour in-office superday where it was just back-to-back 45-minute meetings. Most of them were pretty good, the team members were nice and respectful, but the two meetings evaluating my technical skills were not adequate at all. They spent a lot of time going through my resume line by line and asking me about stuff like 'what do you mean you reduced MTTR,' my personal projects, and the business domain of the projects I've worked on. This role has been open for 3 months now, and even though there are a lot of overqualified people looking for jobs, I get why now after going through this.

Behavioral Other

I had an interview with HR, then a second person. The 3rd person was a manager who stopped the interview after 5 minutes to tell me he didn’t think I was a fit BEFORE the interview and went on to lecture me for 10 minutes without taking a breath about which company I should apply to and what type of jobs I should go for. I guess if you make it past the phone interviews, you then have to spend a day at the office and have a bunch of interviews throughout the day to finally see if you get the job

Behavioral

Had a simple screening interview with HR, then an interview with the hiring manager which was extremely unpleasant. The hiring manager seemed disinterested and was rude sometimes. Important parts of the job description were intentionally vague or misleading. Compensation was not mentioned because it was drastically below market rate. Three weeks after the final interview, I got a generic rejection email that did not include the role title or my name. I would stay away or think twice about applying.
