I was contacted about a week after applying online by a very nice woman. She asked me to come in for an interview at Woodland Park. She was friendly and gave me a tour of the campus, which was 2 buildings as construction was underway on a third. The interview lasted about an hour and was very casual and more discussion-based. I was offered the position and would have loved to accept it, but they only offered me one class a week which came out to $200 weekly. Economically, it didn't make sense because I would have needed to work full-time on top of that and the class was only offered twice a week during the middle of the day.

I heard about an internal opening for instructional designer, so I emailed my resume to the head of the department and he liked it so he emailed me about an interview. We sat down for about half an hour and talked about the different aspects of instructional design. He was big on teamwork, teaching pedagogy, consistency and organization.

Behavioral Presentation

It was a long process with about 3-4 steps. First, I had a phone interview with HR. Then, I took an online test that lasted about an hour. After that, I had an in-person interview with an office coordinator. Finally, I interviewed with the VP of the department. I had to prepare and present a given presentation to the VP before they offered me the position.

Applied online and after two weeks, I got a call to set up an interview. The interview itself was pretty general, not many skill or experience-based questions were asked. I felt like I was leading the interview and ended up asking most of the questions. Also, I wasn't aware beforehand that I'd be interviewed by multiple people at once.
