First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bergmann Associates.
Project Manager
The hiring process started off quickly. But after the first interview, things have slowed down and become confusing. I haven't heard back after my initial interview and follow-up emails about scheduling a second interview. I'm waiting to hear back, or if they're putting the job on hold.
- Can you walk me through your background and experience?
Electrical Design Engineer
I had a Skype interview initially, and then an in-person one. The day before the onsite, I had dinner with senior leaders. The next day, I met with the manager and also talked to the heads of architecture and mechanical departments.
- Tell me about your long term goals.
- Could you demonstrate arc flash and coordination studies using SKM?
Civil Engineer
I first spoke with a representative from the company at the MSU Career Fair. They told me to apply online, which I had already done. Then, I got an email from HR to schedule an interview. The interview was a week after that. Two engineers interviewed me and asked me about my experiences.
- What aspects of leadership roles do you find enjoyable?
Mechanical Engineer
I spoke with two managers in one interview round. It was a relaxed and very pleasant conversation. They didn't ask many technical questions, mostly focusing on my past experience and the scope of work I did in my previous jobs.
- Can you discuss your previous projects?
- What was the scope of your responsibilities in prior roles?
