First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Beretta USA.
Value Engineer
A quick chat with management, no tech questions involved. Management will ask you questions based on your resume to see if you can explain how your skills align with the job. Then, a second interview with the R&D team, also not technical. It was pretty laid back.
- How do you see yourself performing in the role of a Value Engineer?
VP Manufacturing & Supply Chain
The interview process was very direct. The interviewer was focused and concise, offering a good overview of the company, the role, and its potential opportunities and challenges. They concluded the meeting by clearly outlining the next steps, salary expectations, and providing some follow-up details.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
Marketing and Communications Director
I applied through the website, but after six weeks of no response, a third-party recruiter reached out on LinkedIn. They thought I'd be a good fit and wanted to forward my resume. A few days later, HR from Beretta wanted a quick call about my background and experience. The call lasted 90 minutes and covered a lot of relevant topics. It seemed to go well, and they said the next step would be talking to the hiring manager. However, I never heard back from the recruiter or HR, and my emails weren't answered. The only communication was via text, with the recruiter promising each week for three weeks that they were meeting with HR on Monday. After six weeks, I took another job offer. It was a really weird experience.
- Can you describe your management and leadership style?
- Under what type of leadership do you perform best?
Marketing
I had an initial screening with two HR people. They talked about my background and explained the job to me. They said they'd let me know the following week. I emailed them a thank you and followed up again, but I didn't hear anything for 6 months until I got a generic email saying they had moved on to other candidates.
- Can you share your background and experience with us?
