It was super easy! I saw a posting on a sign inside the restaurant and walked up to the manager. He helped me set up an interview. The interview questions were pretty easy. If you have customer service experience and can show professionalism, it’s not a deal breaker if you don’t have previous food handling experience.

The job was listed as urgently hiring, but when I got to the interview the hiring manager told me there were no available openings. He told me there was an opening for cashier and I said that sounds great. He barely asked me three questions before telling me that was all and that I'd receive an email from them soon. I never received an email.

I had an interview scheduled from two days prior. When I got there, I asked for the manager, and they almost couldn't find my application, so they nearly made me fill out another one. Finally, the manager found it and started asking me standard questions about my experience in this role. After about 20-30 minutes of talking, another manager from the sushi bar came over and asked me to demonstrate my sushi skills.
