First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Benevolus.
Sales Representative
I had 3 interviews in total, each with a different team member and for a different duration. I really liked everyone I met and they were happy to answer all of my questions. The first interview was in person with the assistant manager. I got a good sense of the company culture and environment. He was interested in learning more about me and also gave me an overview of the business, its origins, and its purpose. The second interview lasted an hour and was with a top account manager. They discussed their career path within the company, potential for growth, and compensation details. The final interview was with the president, who asked me more in-depth questions about my work ethic and also cleared up any remaining questions I had.
- Where in the world would you travel if you had the chance, and what is the reason for that choice?
Account Representative
After applying online, I got a call soon after and scheduled an interview for the next morning. The interview process had four parts: an initial phone call, followed by a three-round interview that all happened in one day. By the end of that day, I was offered the job. I spoke with the receptionist before each round. The first round was with the Assistant Manager, Sam, and it was pretty quick. The second round was the longest, with an Account Executive and a trainee. We talked a lot about my resume, focusing on my goals and attitude. The final round was with Dave and was also very brief.
- Could you tell me what integrity means to you?
- How would you prioritize Growth, Work Environment, and Compensation, ranking them from most to least important?
Account Representative
You'll come in with a bunch of other young candidates to do some paperwork. Then, you'll chat with the manager, and after that, your team leader. It's a 30-minute chat where the team lead will lay out the promotion path and tell you you'll get promoted fast. Then, a quick 30-second interview with the manager who doesn't seem to care about your background. They'll call you with a decision afterward.
- Don't worry about being a good fit, they don't really care.
- Don't stress about interview questions.
- The turnover rate is extremely high.
Account Executive
I applied online, and they reached out quickly. The initial call was a good fit check and company intro. The first meeting was short, followed by a longer breakfast meeting the next day where they shared more details. Then they called to say they were interested. The office vibe was really cool, energetic, and positive, with upbeat music and people who seemed genuinely happy.
- What do you want from your next role?
