The interview process went well up to the third stage with the Director. However, during my presentation, the Director seemed distracted and was talking to other people in their office. After the interview, they gave me positive feedback but kept me waiting for weeks. I had to chase them for a response, which eventually turned out to be negative. When I asked for the reasons for rejection, they became unresponsive, which I found unprofessional, especially for a Senior position. The entire process from the first contact to the final outcome took two and a half months.

It was a pretty pleasant interview, they make you feel comfortable. The interview is divided into three parts. If you pass the first one, you proceed to the last step. The first interview is about your past experiences, experiences abroad, and your educational background.

Applied via Craigslist and got a call to schedule an interview. Since the manager didn't have an office, we interviewed in the stock room which was busy with people coming and going. I was hired right then and there. They asked typical interview questions like what value you can add to the company, your relevant experience, how you'd handle an angry customer, what you'd do if a coworker took your sale, and what you disliked about your previous job. During the 4 months I was there, we had 3 different managers.

So, how I got the interview was through a referral to the HR Head, which is pretty common here, referrals or having your profile updated on Naukri are the main ways to get noticed since they don't really post jobs. For my HR role, I had two interviews on the same day with the GM of HR and the HR Head, and I got the offer the same day. For other departments, it's usually a round with the reporting manager, the Head of department, and the HR Head.
