First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BeneSys.
Business Analyst
The interviewers were really nice and made it feel more like a two-way conversation. They were upfront that it takes a few months to really get the hang of their software and systems. It seems like they're looking for someone who will figure things out independently rather than needing to be told every step. We talked about data analysis and management, but they weren't expecting deep SQL knowledge upfront, just a willingness to learn.
- What's your comfort level with Excel and SQL?
- Can you share an experience of working on projects where the specifications weren't clear, and how you managed that with your team or client?
Benefits Analyst
Interviewed with two managers who were nice. The interview was straight forward and fast paced. It consisted mainly of behavioral questions more than the job itself. Received a call about a week later with an offer. The overall process took about a couple weeks.
- Describe a situation where you had to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and explain your approach.
Customer Support
The interview process took about a month and consisted of three rounds: one with HR, one with the hiring manager, and one with the team. I applied online through a job board.
- What motivates you to join our company?
Pension Coordinator
The interview wasn't related to the job and the interviewer seemed unprepared. They actually looked up questions online during the interview. They made delivering bad news over the phone sound like a fun activity.
- Behavior questions were looked up online.
