First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bendix.
Director
The interview process was quite lengthy with no feedback from talent management. I followed up twice with them and other interviewers, but still heard nothing. One interviewer didn't even turn on their camera and just fired off questions that seemed unrelated to the job description.
- Given the choice between mind-reading or teleportation, which would you pick?
Senior Product Manager
The interview process involved several phone screenings followed by in-person interviews. I had discussions with leaders at various levels of the company about my background. They also presented me with opportunities from different departments, but then I didn't hear back from them.
- Which department would you prefer to work with inside the organization?
Mechanical Engineer
The interview process was smooth and well-structured. It started with an initial HR round, where we discussed my background and qualifications. The second round was with the Engineering Manager, focusing on technical skills and relevant experience. The final round was again with HR to negotiate compensation and discuss benefits. Overall, it was a positive experience.
- What makes you a suitable candidate for this position?
IT
I applied at the career fair. After they reviewed my resume, they invited me for an interview. I had attended their info session the night before and spoke with the head recruiter. He directed me to interview with the IT manager at the career fair. I visited their booth multiple times to show my interest. The interviewer was friendly and asked general behavioral questions and about my resume. He also took the time to answer all my questions. The interview felt very relaxed.
