Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Benchmark Senior Living.
Nurse
Started with a phone interview, then moved to in-person interviews with Directors. We also toured the facility. I got to ask any remaining questions about the role and responsibilities. It was good to talk directly with the directors and get my questions answered.
- What are the typical questions asked in most interviews?
- Do you have any questions about the role and its responsibilities?
Registered Nurse
I applied online and then I called to follow up. I was offered an interview. I went to the interview, and it was a really laid back setting. I met with the RCD and the ED, and they were both very nice people. It was a low stress interview. I was hired the same day and I accepted the position.
- What motivates you to pursue a career as an assisted living nurse?
Registered Nurse
Had two interviews, and they also did a background check and checked my references. The people were nice, and I heard back pretty fast. They answered all my questions during the interview. It was a pretty easy process and a good experience overall.
- Can you share an instance where you recognized a patient's acute medical concern or change? What was the issue, how did you detect it, and what actions did you take?
