Sales Development Representative
It was a pretty long recruitment process with a lot of steps for an entry-level position. Started with a Hiring Recruiter call, then a Hiring Manager chat, followed by a really long take-home assignment (at least 4 hours), which was quite simple but lengthy. After that, there was a mock call with the Hiring Manager and a peer, and the final step was with peers.
- Can you tell me about your biggest challenges?
Sales Development Representative
The interview process was quite involved, with several stages. It started with a recruiter call, then there was a project which was pretty long and challenging. After that, there was a mock call. The last step was meeting with the manager. They were pretty responsive during the process, but it took a few weeks to get the final decision.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What is your understanding of our company?
- Standard questions for this type of position.
Sales Development Representative
So the interview process was quite long, it took over a month from when I first applied and heard back from the recruiter until the very last interview with the CEO, CMO, and some other execs. It started with a 30-minute call with a recruiter, then another 30-minute call with the hiring manager. After that, I had to do a take-home assignment and a mock cold call to see how I'd do the job. Then there was a longer 2.5-hour interview with the team lead/hiring manager again and some marketing folks. The final round was about 1.5 hours with the top execs and managers I mentioned. They made an offer after checking my references, and I had 3 business days to decide.
- What's your approach to dealing with rejection?
- Can you tell me about scientific subjects you're most and least comfortable discussing?
- What specifically draws you to an SDR position?
