The interview process was pretty chill and laid-back. I didn't get the job because I guess I wasn't the best fit, but don't sweat it. The only weird part was this one coworker who gave me a dirty look when I came in. Overall though, it was a pretty good interview experience.

We had a group interview with the manager right there in the store. It was pretty straightforward – they wanted to know about my past experience and my interest in the job and the company. It was important to make a good impression or to speak up before others so that our answers weren't all the same.

I sent in my application online but I had to call them to get an interview. It was on zoom because of covid, but the interviewer was still late. I passed the first round; you just need to look enthusiastic and smile a lot. But then they told me I had to do a second round, which seemed a bit much for a scooper role. I did that round too and it went fine. Again, just smile and look friendly. I got an offer then. But even after getting hired, I had to wait for them to contact me. I think I had to reach out myself because they wanted everyone who was hired to go through the same virtual orientation.

We talked about the job. They asked me questions, I asked them questions, we chatted, and then more questions. Eventually, they offered me a drink, but I said no because I was shy. I regret not accepting because my mouth was really dry, and I could feel my lips cracking, but I was nervous they'd notice my hands shaking if I drank. It's not their fault though.
