The interview process had two stages: first, a one-on-one meeting with the lab head, and second, a public seminar presenting my previous research findings. The discussions primarily revolved around my professional background, my proficiency with statistical tools, and my ideas for continuing my previous research at this lab.

I was asked to create a vision for the center and build a presentation. Then, there were 3 interviews with stakeholders from the university and outside. This was followed by a technical test, group dynamics, and a psychological assessment, all done on campus. We also included a written bio and references.

I was seated at the table with three interviewers across from me. They seemed to be looking for any dirt on me rather than conducting a professional interview. They barely mentioned my resume and instead belittled me and tasks I hadn't even put on my CV. It felt very disrespectful and demeaning.
