Caregiver
The interview process was very polite and detailed. They asked necessary questions about the position I applied for. The managers were flexible with scheduling and very understanding. The staff seemed friendly and professional overall. It felt like a good choice and a good match.

Caregiver
It was a very welcoming interview, friendly and understandable. The interviewer seemed excited to meet me, which made me feel very welcome. She also showed a lot of knowledge about me, indicating she had read my resume.

Business Office Operations HR
I applied on LinkedIn and got a quick response from the recruiter. We set up a 30-minute phone interview which went really well. It was a chill conversation and Belmont seemed like a good place. Then I had a one-hour interview with the hiring manager at their facility. That was nice too. The manager was friendly and cool. We had a good chat and the hour flew by. We discussed what's next. She said the recruiter would be in touch in a few days. But then, radio silence. I didn't hear anything. After a few days, I messaged the recruiter, who mentioned they probably went with someone internal, but she'd confirm and let me know. As you can guess, the recruiter never followed up. I was pretty surprised. Getting ghosted after a decent interview seems common now. But I really thought Belmont was different.
- Were you asked about your availability and scheduling preferences?
Community Relations Assistant
I applied online and the sales managers reviewed my resume to see if I was a good fit for their team, looking at passion for seniors, experience, and education. Then, they gave me a 20-minute phone call to assess my interviewing skills. After that, I was invited for an in-person interview where managers explained the high-pressure nature of sales, the need to generate revenue, manage responsibilities, and work under stress. They also detailed duties like following up with prospects, touring the community, and managing paperwork. They emphasized the importance of personality fit for the small team. This first interview lasted over 2 hours, covering my goals, past experience, and reasons for applying, while managers shared job details. A week later, I was asked to complete a computer-based morality test assessing honesty about drug use, lying, stealing, and abuse. Post-test, I met briefly with the Executive Director and sales team to discuss job expectations and confirm the role would not be full-time. The ED reiterated the responsibilities and the stress involved. Following this, the managers offered me the job. After accepting, I underwent a drug test, TB test, physical, and federal background check, and all my previous employers were contacted. The whole process took 5 weeks.
- How do you handle performing under stress and pressure?
- Are you passionate about working with seniors?
- What are your professional goals?
