Information Technology Specialist
I was contacted pretty fast after submitting my application online and went straight to an interview with the hiring manager/director, with hardly any HR involvement. It was efficient and I appreciated it because the hiring manager is best suited to evaluate candidates. The interview was one panel interview with two people, though a third panelist was supposed to be there but couldn't make it. They asked standard behavioral and technical questions about cyber risk, which could be answered using the SOAR/STAR method. The hiring director was nice and easy to talk to, but her colleague was not. He was intimidating, and when I tried to explain why I was no longer employed (politely), he aggressively pressed for details even when I was being tactful. I would have rated this interview highly, but that experience brought the rating down. The hiring team also requested my official university transcript. I eventually got a rejection email weeks later, which I was grateful for instead of being ghosted, so I appreciated that (even with the unpleasant interviewer).

Production Assistant
The team was nice and all, but I decided to pass on the job because it mainly involved washing dishes after the food segments and writing online articles. It's a good fit if you're a second-year university student looking for something low-pressure. But if you're a young professional aiming to advance your career, you can definitely find better opportunities than just doing dishes!

Data Analyst
First, I had a scheduled interview, but it started 20-30 minutes late. I had to fill out a paper form with my details even though they had my resume. After that interview, they asked if I could stay to meet more people, which I agreed to. This led to 3 more separate interviews and tests. Finally, they said I'd meet the team I'd be working with, but I was left waiting alone in a room for about 30 minutes with no info or even water. The whole thing took about 5 hours. After all that, I heard nothing for 3.5 weeks. I had to reach out for an update, and they told me they'd already moved on. I wouldn't have known anything if I didn't ask.
- Would you be willing to go out and do field surveys?
- There was a written technical test.
- Describe how you would analyze a particular dataset given XYZ.
Manager
It was a video interview and then two rounds, with the last one being the final round. Overall, it was a negative experience. They weren't friendly at all. I didn't get good vibes when I was explaining things and they were just not understanding what I'm talking about. If your requirements are different, don't shortlist someone and waste their time.
