This was the most unprofessional software industry interview I've experienced. The hiring manager seemed disengaged, didn't review my resume, and mostly talked about himself and his past roles, even mentioning wanting to leave software. He also spoke negatively about other teams. The questions focused on tools and some behavioral 'tell me about a time' scenarios.

The interview process was pretty straightforward. They asked me some basic technical questions about programming concepts, and also some general trivia about tech and current trends. It wasn't too hard, felt pretty normal. The interview was more like a chat, meant to see if I knew basic tech stuff and could communicate well, not so much about super deep algorithms.
