Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bell.
Intern
The interview process was smooth and the questions were easy to answer. I got to discuss my past experiences and show off my skills. I was also asked about the discipline I'm interested in, which was helpful for figuring out what I like.
- Can you share some of your past experiences?
- Could you demonstrate your skills?
- Which discipline are you interested in?
Intern
The interview process involved an online test, a technical interview, and then an HR interview. It was pretty straightforward. They asked about the stress-strain diagram of mild steel, and then about SFD and BMD. The interviewers were friendly and helpful. They put a lot of emphasis on the projects and internships I've done. Then they asked why I wasn't going for higher studies and about my strengths and weaknesses.
- Could you explain the stress-strain diagram for mild steel?
- Can you describe SFD and BMD?
- Tell me about your projects.
Business Intelligence Intern
It was all behavioral. I had an interview call with the hiring manager, and then another interview with someone in the IT department. They asked questions like why I'm interested in this company, about projects I've worked on, and about my resume. Then they asked about a time I worked in a group and if I had any conflicts.
- Can you tell me about a time you resolved a conflict?
- Can you tell me about a time you worked on a team?
- Why did you choose this company?
