First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Belimed.
Manager
It was pretty standard, a recruiter call first, then a call with the hiring manager, and finally an onsite interview with some senior team members. I was bummed about how short the onsite was, I had to travel in and out the same day, which was over 24 hours total for the trip. What really irked me was that they don't cover travel expenses like airport parking, tolls, mileage, or meals. And if you're coming from out of town, they don't cover hotel rooms either! This was only clarified after I submitted my expenses to Sonja Southerland in HR, and even though she apologized for the mix-up, she didn't do anything to fix it. It's funny because I approve all suppliers globally for my current company and Belimed is one of them. Seems like a missed opportunity. The Director I spoke with, however, was pretty straightforward and honest.
- Can you share some examples of your past experiences dealing with intercompany quality issues?
Technical Sales
First, I had an interview with standard questions and a relaxed atmosphere. I got a call after 1 week confirming it was very successful. Then, they disappear for 3 months (impossible to get hold of the HR or the Line manager), then suddenly a new lady calls me to ask why I did apply for this position. She did not know that I already had an interview, and that I was waiting for the second step! After my explanation, she calls me back another time saying they had changed the search...and on the same day they re-publish exactly the same job post!!!
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- What motivated you to apply for this role?
Quality and Regulatory Manager
It was a slow process. I first talked to the hiring manager informally about the job in July. He later asked for my resume and application after his first choices turned down the offer. About two weeks after that, I had a phone interview with HR. Then, three weeks later, I had a Skype interview with the VP of the department. This whole process took two months.
- What did you like best and least about your previous roles?
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Why are you interested in working for BeliMed?
Project Manager
Went through a few interviews. Started with HR, then met with the hiring manager and a PM. After that, had another chat with the HR manager and the Hiring Manager. The HR part was pretty standard, but talking with the hiring manager was more interesting. All in all, it was a good experience.
