First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Belami e-Commerce.
Front Desk Receptionist
The interview started with a new approach where I had to ask questions first, making it feel like a practice run. Although the interview was long, almost an hour, I felt judged, especially about not having a college degree, and even thought about leaving. They mentioned their teenager could do the job. I don't think the company is bad, but some interviewers can be judgmental, particularly towards candidates without a degree.
- Could you explain why you didn't complete your college education?
- What are your life goals and ambitions?
- How effectively do you manage and cope with stress?
Sales IT Tech/Customer Service
It was a 3-part interview process. The first interview was a 15-minute phone call to gauge initial interest. The second interview involved meeting with two managers who asked questions to assess cultural fit and your capacity for creativity and innovation. The third and final interview was with one of the owners.
- Tell me about your biggest accomplishment from a previous job or school.
- What are you most proud of?
- How do you define success?
Marketing Associate
So, first I had a phone call, and then I went in for an in-person interview with two managers. The vibe in person was kind of weird though. They really seemed to want to dig into why I was leaving my current job, which was odd because I'd already told them everything. They just seemed cold, like they didn't want to be there. Anyway, because of that, I decided not to do the second in-person interview they mentioned, which they called a "culture fit" thing.
- What's prompting your job search?
- Can you share your experience with PPC campaigns?
Accounting Specialist
Had 2 interviews, one with the hiring manager (CFO and Accounting Manager) and another with a panel. They asked both technical and temperament questions. The process went smoothly, and I got the offer within 3 days of the interview.
- What is your ideal work environment?
