English Teacher
First, you hand in your belongings and wait to take the exam in the waiting room. Then, you draw questions and sign them. After that, you get 20 minutes to prepare your lesson. Next, you'll answer some set questions. Then comes the trial lecture, like a simulated class. Following that is a defense or statement. Finally, the examiners will rate you.

There were 3 interviews for the position. The first was a phone interview and very short. The second was on-site with several teachers and HR staff. They were generally very kind and friendly. The third round included tests. Everything went very fast.
- Can you introduce yourself and tell me about your previous working experience?
IELTS Teacher
So there were two rounds. First, I had to do a demo reading class. Then the interviewers acted like students and brought up potential questions to challenge me and see how I'd handle different classroom situations. After that, they did a background check and asked some questions about my CV. The two rounds were pretty much the same, focusing on whether I'd made improvements based on feedback from the first round.

IELTS Teacher
First, they asked for a quick personal background covering my name, current job, and my teaching experience. Then, they wanted to know about my qualifications like TEFL/TESOL/CELTA, IELTS experience, degrees, and any other certs I have. They also asked why I chose to teach IELTS and what unique strengths I offer, like knowing the exam well or how I handle error correction. Finally, there was a short teaching demo.
