First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Beijing Benz.
Process Engineer
The interview process is pretty relaxed. They'll ask you to answer some basic questions in English, even if the interview is in China. The technical questions focus on quality management. It usually starts with a self-introduction, then a discussion about your previous work experience. They might also ask why you left your last position.
- Can you explain your understanding of torque issues during assembly?
Project Manager
After submitting my resume, I was invited for an interview a few days later. The first round involved a 30-minute English reading comprehension test, followed by a face-to-face interview with an HR representative, conducted in both Chinese and English. Subsequently, I proceeded to the Project Management Office for my second round of interviews, which also included discussions in both Chinese and English. That concluded the interview process.
- Could you tell me about your educational background?
- What are your proficiencies with office software?
Material Engineer
It was a single round interview with two technical team members. The interview wasn't too difficult, mainly focusing on my English proficiency and prior work history. I did encounter an issue with HR providing incorrect shuttle bus route information, which was unprofessional.
- What specific parts of your past projects did you complete?
Exterior Engineer
I had 3 interview rounds in total. First was with HR, then two more rounds with the senior manager. All communication was in English. They asked a lot about my previous work experience and the projects I've been involved in.
- Can you tell me about your experience working abroad?
