Behavioral Presentation Case

You'll start with a call from HR, then chat with the hiring manager. After that, it's a panel interview with 3-4 folks from the hiring team and other departments. You'll get a business case to work on and have to give a 15-minute presentation. Then, there's a 30-40 minute behavioral chat with the team. For the presentation, really focus on their products, don't go off-topic. No intro slide about yourself or hobbies, they're all about practicality. Nail the presentation by pointing out areas where they could improve their current efforts and suggest things competitors are doing that they could adopt. Be confident, and you'll get an offer.

The application was simple, thanks to a LinkedIn post with the 'Easy Apply' option. I just had to attach my resume, skipping the cover letter. I got an email a few business days later for a phone screen with the first point of contact, who wasn't a manager. They seemed nice but might have been eating during the call. The questions were very robotic and behavioral. While I get that recruiting can be repetitive, I think the first person a candidate talks to should be welcoming and represent the company well. I didn't get that impression.

The application was super easy, just sent it via LinkedIn. HR reached out via email to schedule a 30-minute phone screen, which I did. The recruiter was great, asked what I'd call 'standard' phone screen questions for the role and dug deeper when needed to see if I was a good fit. A few days later, I got a call to set up in-person interviews at their office. Unfortunately, I had to cancel 24 hours before because I got really sick. The Beiersdorf team was incredibly understanding and flexible about rescheduling. Some people on the panel even emailed me to say not to worry, just focus on getting better, and they'd reschedule. And they did! During the in-person interviews, I found the people to be really knowledgeable, passionate about the current business, and excited about the future. Plus, they seemed genuinely happy to meet with me, not just going through the motions. You definitely need to have your business KPIs to get in the door. That said, culture is a huge deal here, so some people will fit and some won't. The interview process for roles at this level really reflects that focus on cultural fit. If you have more of an 'I, Me, Mine' attitude rather than a 'We, Us, Together' one, Beiersdorf might not be the right place for you.

Behavioral Presentation

The hiring process was quick and straight forward. I applied online and was called within a few days for a screening interview. The first phone interview was within the next few days. Then, I was set up for six short interviews with upper management in Wilton, CT, including travel and hotel accommodations. After the interviews, I flew back home. The entire process was very quick and efficient, and I received a competitive job offer two days later. Beiersdorf has also been very helpful with my relocation, and the HR team was great!
