First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Behavioral Health Link.
Proposal and Bid Intelligence Manager
I first had a one-on-one interview with the hiring manager. Then, I was given a take-home project to assess my writing and bid management skills. Following that, I met with two upper management members and then the CEO. After these meetings, they requested professional references. The hiring manager was very communicative, even contacting me on a Sunday evening to set up an interview and texting me during the process. Even though my former manager recapped the reference check conversation, they ghosted me after that, and my follow-up emails to the hiring manager and CEO went unanswered.
- Describe a situation where you handled an RFP under a tight deadline.
Human Resources Coordinator
It was a thorough process. I hadn't done one-way video interviews before, but they actually let me know the steps beforehand at the bottom of the application. I just wish they would have included the pay range so I wouldn't have felt like I was lowballing myself.
- Could you introduce yourself and let me know which department you're interested in coordinating for (Benefits, Training, Recruiting)?
- Describe a time you collaborated on a team project and share the outcomes.
- What is your understanding of employee engagement?
Clinician
It was a pretty basic interview. First, I took a typing test. After passing that, I went on to the interview session where I met with an HR professional and a clinical team manager. They asked me different crisis-based scenario questions and also asked about my clinical training.
- Questions vary depending on the interviewer
- Tell me about your clinical training
- What would you do in this crisis scenario?
Care Consultant
I applied and got a phone interview pretty quickly, within two days. Then, just two days after that, I had to do a typing test where I needed to hit 40wpm. After that, I had a face-to-face interview with the supervisor and one of the clinicians. It was a nice interview, honestly.
- Tell me about your experience.
- Can you explain your experience in this field?
