First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Beemac Trucking.
Business Analyst
I interviewed for an entry-level position. The recruiter in the interview told me that I wouldn't be considered because I haven't worked in the exact role I was applying for. When I tried to explain why I was applying, they cut me off and explained to me that they assumed I wouldn't like it. The process was memorable because of the arrogance I experienced.
- What would your ideal workplace look like if you had a magic wand?
Accountant
It started with a quick call to get some info, then I had a panel interview with three people: the CFO, the Accounting manager, and HR. They asked usual questions like what your biggest strength and weakness is. No personal stuff was asked.
- In your current job, how would your manager or boss describe you?
Accountant
The interviewer was very informative about the job description and what exactly I would be doing. She was very open about what it was like working for the company. Everyone at the company was very polite.
- Could you tell me about your accounting experience?
Logistics Specialist
I had a phone chat with a recruiter and then a phone chat with the Hiring Manager at Beemac. They actually don't have a current opening for the role I was looking for, but they said they'd reach out if something opens up.
