First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Beeline (Russia).
Systems Analyst
I had a scoring interview with HR where they asked general questions. Then, there was a one-hour technical interview that went pretty well. They asked about requirements gathering, general knowledge and patterns for systems integration, and tools I've used. They also asked about SQL and UML models.
- Do you use the Swagger editor for describing REST APIs?
Legal Counsel
Had a nice talk with the Head of Legal and the Head of Branch. It was a two-step interview where they asked about my previous work experience, my last projects, and my plans for the future. It was very pleasant to talk and ask questions.
- Where do you see yourself in five years?
C# Developer
I had two take-home test tasks before the actual interview. Then, there was an online interview via Skype with three people from Beeline. They asked me about SOLID, patterns, SQL, and git.
- Can you explain how to merge the last four commits in Git?
- Could you define what stored procedures are?
- What are some ways to optimize access speed in ADO.NET?
Manager
The entire process took about an hour, and I found it to be a very positive experience. All the staff I interacted with were really nice and welcoming. The office space was neat, and the employees were consistently helpful. Overall, it was a great experience.
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
