So first, a recruiter called me and asked me a few things about my resume and some easy questions. Then the manager for the team called me for a formal phone interview. After that, they called me again and said they wanted to fly me out. Since I'm from Atlanta, they flew me out the day before so I could check out the area. For the actual interview, my manager and his manager took me to lunch and we chatted about different things. We talked about my past experiences, why I'm looking for a job, and what I enjoy doing, etc. Then we headed back to the office and discussed my resume more, as well as the role and the company. The interview wrapped up with a tour of the facilities. I flew back the next morning.

I had a first phone interview with HR, then a second phone interview with the Department Manager. Both went fine. The third interview was a group interview with 6 people. Panel interviews can be tough, but this one was particularly difficult because they seemed to be looking for specific keywords related to their current needs. I had to ask them to repeat their questions multiple times. The HR recruiter later told me that this group is known for interviewing candidates that way. She said I'd hear back within 10 days. I sent a 'Thank You' note to the department manager after the interview. It's been four weeks and I still haven't heard anything.

standard process with resume and online application. My interview was a series of one phone interview with the recruiter, a followup phone interview with the hiring manager, an in office group interview with the hiring manager and a peer, in house group interview with the CIO and another peer, then sit and wait. Stay on top of the contacting, they are not real proactive at keeping in touch.

The interview was a full day event, which started with a field trip in the morning and then interviews with three different people in the afternoon. I was an intern student at the time. They hired me directly after I graduated, so there were no further interviews. I was laid off after 5 months as an intern and 13 months as a direct employee.
